Eye color is tied to one of the top 2 selectors, which one depends on the race.

This replaces the head, you'd need to make a patch combining the textures from both mods to avoid mismatched skin colors between the head and body.

does this mod override the eyes of the "Alternate Floran Body" mod (the one with human-like skin colors)? And if not, can you increase the priority of this mod to override it?

I think the question mark in the title is very appropriate, since floran don't have eyes like this. Just look at Nuru's chat portrait, or literally any other floran artwork larger than an in-game character sprite.

Eye color is tied to Leaf color due to them both using the "special" modifier, I cannot change this.

Should be tied to petal/flower color not leaf...
