Warrior of Light

9 custom skills work fine. They may be nudged later on for balancing. The rest are coming up.

I am uploading this mod specifically to grant beta testers access to it so I can get feedback. Any project is better as a collaboration.

Please subscribe to this only if you are OK with this. Just don't be surprised if your soldier does weird stuff, or doesn't work as advertised.

I will appreciate feedback about what's good, what's bad, what's fun, what's broken, etc.

I'm working on something, but I don't want to release it until it's ready. Otherwise the negative ratings start raining when someone didn't understand this is just a beta and under development.
Steam doesn't have an option to share files discreetly... go figure!

The idea behind the mod is a holy warrior. There are two skill trees: Priest and Paladin.

LORE:
If you need Lore to get behind a mod, there's some: Psionic magic exists in the xcom universe. It's been 20 years since X-com figured out how to use Psionic warriors too. 20 years of evolution means a faction has figured out how to add their own spin on Psionic powers. Reference, Templars.
Warriors of the Light have gone for a "holy magic" approach to it.

SKILLS:
NOTHING AT THIS POINT IS FINAL.

Squaddie:
- Minor heal - heal 1 HP every turn.
- Gain +2 HP to your max health per rank
- Sword Slash

***************** Priest *****************
Corporal: Bless: give +15 aim +50 critical chance to one target. Doesn't cost an action point.
Sergeant: Mist: Grant concealment to any target
Lieutenant: Heal 4hp, with 4 turns cooldown.
Captain: Vigor: Gives 1 action point to a friend.
Major: Peace: Disarm an enemy.
Colonel: Aura of something. Ideas, anyone?

***************** Paladin *****************
Corporal: Smite: charge in for a special melee attack. This will disorient and has 50% chance to stun for 1 turn.
Sergeant: Consecrate: +3 armor, + damage. passive.
Lieutenant: Prayer: + crit chance and dodge, passive
Captain: Grants 5 points of Shield in a radius, same as Advent Shieldbearer.
Major: I'm having a modder's block for this one. Ideas, anyone?
Colonel: Aura of something. Ideas, anyone?
