That's is the common problem for ships with multiple drives. As far as I remember it's the hud problem. Reselect your ship to reload the hud every time this happens. I remember I avoided that somehow. Not sure how, though.
However, the Hyperdrive button returns after I leave the proximity of the fling beacon, so it's usuable. Fling beacons are better than Hyperdrives, when they're available anyway.
I'm glad you found the problem. All incompabilities will be written in disscusion. The mod is called fleet calc, isn't it?
It was a cold and rainy day. A man came back home wet and ill to complete the work up to the end. He looked so tired that every person who comes near him would fall asleep. That was me that day. So yeah I always mistake Geralds for Heralds.
