The Sholton River Railway

From Deadly Dorito comes a brand new sorta masterpiece in the form of the sholton river railway!

The journey
You start off in the popular attraction for hikers and walkers alike, Harpers Hill was used as a lookout for enemy invaders, but the fort has since been destroyed. This is the station were the line keeps all its wagons and locomotives. On departure you start to travel deeper into the Fareham Woodland and you are able to access the first part of the River Sholton, that begins at Harpers Hill and ends along the Thames in london. You then travel over a couple of bridges before reaching the lovely little station of Bankside. Which is the beginning point for walkers to take a scenic journey over the River Sholton. The line then travels alongside the bank of the River sholton before turning away back into the forest where we hook up with the main road crossing over it and rolling into the railways main hub of activity. Fareham Woods station may be small but its the only station where passengers can park there cars an ride the train. This also gives passengers direct access to the the "White Hound" pub. The line concludes here.

Please enjoy the route. Its 2.4 miles long and has 3 stations. My main aim for this route was to depict a low budget forest railway that is also one of 3ft gauge.
