Cajon Pass-Modernized (Final)

Cajon Pass Modernized is an extensively re-done version of RSC's Cajon Pass Route. I have made many improvements to make the route realistic to the modern day and fixed up some things that shows the route's age. Some of the many things I have done include:


Old track that came with Cajon Pass has been replaced with the newer, more realistic Stevens Pass tracks from Victorville to San Bernardino. This new track is super elevated, with wood and concrete ties in their prototypical locations. A third main line is also present from San Bernardino to Martinez, a job completed by BNSF in 2008.

Three new yards added at San Bernardino (GM Auto Yard, B Yard and A&R Transport yard) and many sidings in their correct locations added across the entire route.

Re-done signals moved to their correct location and put on much more realistic Stevens Pass signal bridges/cantilevers where applicable.

Replaced speed signs and mileposts everywhere with highly superior Stevens Pass ones.

Many more start and end locations for Quick Drive.

Railroad Crossing Signals and crossing panels also replaced with Stevens Pass assets.

UK style switch stands on the old Cajon track replaced by US ones that come with Stevens Pass.

New Amtrak platforms added at Victorville and San Bernardino for the Southwest Chief.

Some small scenery upgrades.

Many private (used by RR employees only) and public railroad crossings added, now with previously non-existent Whistle Posts.

Markers added at every control point for easy scenario creation.

This is a separate route from the default Cajon Pass, meaning Cajon Pass-Modernized won't replace it.
