[Boss] Jump Pod

描述
The Jump Pod. Boss Version. This is the first ever boss that transforms, having two bulkheads that open and close to allow room for the triple Heavy Mass Drivers (Yes, it's the legendary purple module that does a crap-ton of damage) to wreak havoc on any poor ship who happens to be in front of it at the time. The only drawbacks are that it is slow to turn, and if the bulkheads are open, the Mass Drivers are the weak point.

Devs: The Boss works with the 8 phases algorithm, but with one slight problem: THE SUBSPACE DRIVES ARE OPERATING INDEPENDENTLY OF THE PHASES. That means sometimes when the Jump Pod is in its open state (red lights,) it still makes a subspace jump from time to time, even though it is only supposed to do that in its closed state (yellow lights).

I hope you enjoy, I tried my best to balance this boss!

A rather fun boss. So far I've only encountered it once, and that was in a game of Exploration Mode. Provided a nice challenge, even with the dual mass drivers I had equipped. Overall nicely balanced, and the subspace drives' randomness added an extra threat, forcing me to keep an eye on where the boss was facing and if I could escape a boost in time.

That's probably because it included the ( and ) didn't it? Delete those things in the url then you should be fine.

I should have seen that coming -_-;

May I direct you to Evil Mathematician's list of all ship parts? (steam://openurl/http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/app/330100/discussions/0/357285562483422821/) His "ships" contain all the purple parts in the game as of current, and if you take these ships, copy-paste into your own hangar, take it for a spin and destroy its own modules, you will be able to unlock them for use on your own ships. This little project of his is directed towards people like you, so don't worry!
