Every time I launch the game brings up the initializing loading screen then closes itself. Is this a common issue?

In this thread I'd like to collect 'papercuts' which are in the game. In software design, a 'papercut' is a slight annoyance that isn't technically a bug but drives you insane nevertheless. Examples: - The ship list in the exploration intro mode jumps back to page 1 whenever you click something. - The tooltips for the filter buttons in the hangar are not really informative.
