I made a bugfree mod that includes no permanent death and manual save, compatible with all expansions, here:

I made sure to prevent issues with seasons and time.

after 50 days it was unable to load the save and i lost it ......

So buggy, stay away from this one. Had a 3 year long world, went into ruins and died, tried loading and world generated an extra cave level.
So instead of surface -> caves -> ruins.
Surface -> caves -> CAVES -> ruins.
It was a ruins run I was doing to use all my gems. So my 20 green, orange, yellow, krampus sack and other items. Gone.

As of 26/2/22 reloading the save by F9 on SW makes tidal pools bug out and become invisible/dissapear. They come back if you quit to the main menu and reload the save but it's still annoying.
