Miscellaneous Tweaks (Script Mod Compilation)

A compilation of my personal script tweaks for Don't Starve, all fully configurable via the mod menu.

This mod includes and obsoletes my previous mods:
plus many other features, including no permanent death, manual save/load, boomerang catch tweaks, cave insulation, and possibly more in the future.

All features are modular: you can enable or disable them individually through the configuration options

Included Features:
Feature
Description
Default Setting
Remove Mods Warning
Disables the "Mods Installed" warning dialog when launching the game.
On
Cave Insulation
Increases thermal insulation while inside caves. The value is configurable.

Floral & Meaty Repair
Allows certain items to repair wearable gear:
  • Petals and cactus flowers repair garlands, floral shirts, parasols
  • Meat and morsels repair hambats
  • Melons repair fashion melons
The amount required for full repair is configurable.
petals: 6
cactus flowers: 3
meat: 2
morsels: 4
melon: 1
Closer Placement
Allows buildings and structures to be placed closer together. Minimum spacing is configurable.

Do Not Delete Save
Prevents save slot deletion upon death. Replaces the Retry button with a Reload option. XP is only saved when exiting to the main menu.
On
Attacks Reset
Resets the escalation level of periodic attacks after a certain day.
Supports: hounds, crocodogs, depth worms, frog rain, vampire bats. Reset day is configurable.

F5 Save /
F9 Load
Enables F5 to manually save and F9 to reload. A confirmation popup will appear in both cases.
On
Boomerang catch
Changes the catch behavior of the boomerang. Auto mode: the boomerang is autocaught on return. Drop mode: it passes through the player and drops to the ground instead of hitting.

Does the 'Quit' button actually mean cancel in case of accidental activation? If it does, how is it different from declining the prompt with the 'No' button.

Why is there a 'Quit' button in the confirmation dialogue of the quick save and quick load functions? Seems unnecessary.

Could you make the need for conformation optional? Those keys on the keyboard are far apart from each other, so mistakes are unlikely to happen. I think the pair of keys used for quick saving of PC video games are separated for this reason. I have never seen an instance of quick saving where it prompts for confirmation.
