This mod brings the mercs back from Jagged Alliance 2... in the form of a voice mod.
This is the Wave Three pack, which comes with 20 voices. It was a pain to add all 76 mercs, but I believe that it was worth it in the end.
Bunnyslayer's mod [Link below] has added all of the Classic Jagged Alliance mercs' voices. Check it out!
Check the History for the full list of mercs that are currently in this mod.

If you want the mercs for the full Jagged Alliance experience, then I suggest this mod by Bunnyslayer:
CP Jagged Alliance Series Character Pack

This pack will not contain voices from Back In Action, Crossfire, Online, and Flashback, and I have no intention to do so.

DETAILED INFORMATION:

The voice clips are extracted directly from the game; the highest quality possible. Despite this, the voice files were in mono 4-bit wav, which is low quality by today's standards.

COMPATIBILITY:
It should work with all mods, however this need further testing. If you suspect there's an incompatibility, then report it to me. I'll take a look.

IN THE NEXT MAJOR UPDATE:
I'm done. There are no more mercs to add. I will continue to update my voicepacks though.

TO DO:
Maybe port voices from Deadly Games, and Jagged Alliance.
Maybe a future port that includes a radio filter for all mercs.

Okay, I only had Jagged Alliance 2 installed, not Unfinished Buisness. There are extra voices in Unfinished business for these characters which I was not familiar with as I have only played that one time back when it released. Oddly, they do sound like a different actor tried to mimic that other voice...pretty poorly done. Oh well.

So, nevermind! You've done it all correctly. My mistake. Still an excellent mod overall!

There are 3, but there are a couple of comments in these voice packs that come from IMP 1 and 2 for instance. I'll look into it and give more information on exactly what they are.

I've played Jagged Alliance 2 Gold Vanilla (v1.12), and I remember there being 3 voices to chose from for male and female IMP Characters. They always been there.

The voices changed a little after Wildfire came out and 1.13 crew ran with it.

The IMP voices aren't done quite right according to Jagged Alliance 2. I'm familiar with the male voice 1 and female voice 1. The voices in these files have extra voices from another IMP voice. Not sure if I explained that quite right.

Probably after this release, I might do some of the JA2 mercs that are also in Jagged Alliance/Deadly Games as well, since Bunnyslayer ultimately decided not to.
For the JA1/DG mercs though, I won't do it since he's already done them.
