Psi Rifle

Commander, now that we've researched an Avatar, we can reverse engineer their unique psychic powered rifle. While most of our soldiers lack the psychic potential to wield such weapons, our Psi Ops can put them to good use.

Adds the Psi Rifle, a sidegrade to the assault rifle unique to the Psi Operative. Compared to the beam assault rifle, the psi rifle has:
- Reduced damage (-1)
- Significantly reduced environmental damage (-5)
- Reduced accuracy at close range (-10 to -5)
- Ignores a small amount of armor (1)
- Greater accuracy at medium range (+5 to +10)
- Unlimited ammo


The PsiRifle is a late-game item, and can be constructed in the workshop after autopsying an Avatar. It requires 120 resources, 20 alien alloy, and 10 elerium dust to create each Psi Rifle.
