描述
This is a Standard Scenario for the MML London - Bedford.

As the 1980's came to a close, the writing was on the wall for many of BR's diesel loco's including the Class 45 'Peak'. Starting at Bedford, we will drive a 'Peak' on a semi fast service into St Pancras on a lovely summers evening. As with the end of any era, you get a good mix of traction running around.


Difficulty : Easy
Duration : 50 - 55 mins
Traction : Class 45
Era : Late 1980's

**author's notes** I've used some 455 EMU's in the absence of Class 317's. Class 317 EMU's did run the line in the mid to late 1980's and I thought it'd be nice to have a bit more variety. Just imagine they've got a pantograph and you won't notice the difference.

I've added an excellent video above from YouTube by Mr Deltic15 which inspired me to create this scenario. Well worth checking out Mr Deltic15's other video's, you'll find a good mix of modern and BR video's.

Very Good Scenario. Did you know that all peaks were withdrawn at least eighteen years before st Pancras international opened in 2007 Pity some body does'nt model the route back in the 60s - 70s yes i can remember those Days. Thanks.

Many thanks in advance, PJT. You've obviously put a great deal of time and effort into this, and other, scenarios. Looking forward to running it, right now.

And btw, I truly appreciate your stating the scenario's route in the Briefing. This minor item is probably unnecessary for those who live in the UK, but for hubcaps such as I, living in eastern Canada, I often have no idea where to look for a scenario, once it's subscribed.
