Welcome to the night edition of my map! Excuse the awful picture edit, wouldn't do any good to show you a dark picture and you try to make out what on Earth it is. This is now a dedicated workshop copy of my map, whom by by the night of this upload, shall be a light map again.


YOU WILL NEED CSS (and HL2: Episode 2) TO SEE CERTAIN TEXTURES AND THE MANY, MANY TREES DOTTED AROUND THE MAP! Apologies if you do not have CSS, in the current release of the day version (as of 17/08/2015 (for the Americans: 08/17/2015?)) there are -no- trees but a tiny part of the map does use textures.

It is on other maps. I should have corrected myself before, but the second screenshot is from one of the variations that someone has made of gm_construct

No there isn't. If it doesn't happen on other maps, it's not your fault, it's due to limitations of the map

So from where I am, there's nothing that I can do?

This may not be your fault.

Due to the map needing to be compiled in "fast compile" mode the cubemaps may not have been applied to the map properly.

This is an unfortunate problem you'll have to put up with in gm_simplytrain. When I went and used "full compile" it would crash after 7 hours, whereas it would take just a little under 1 hour to actually compile as well.

And honestly aside from this graphical error, this is the only problem you'll have with the lighting and reflections.

Hi, this is a concern I have that I've seen accross many GMod maps, but it stands out in particular on this one.
I have all of HL2 and it's episodes and I have CSS. Here's a couple of screenshots:

ow. So can you repair one think? When I change crossover and I'll go to sit on train buttom back to 1st option and I cant change road ;x

Oh god not the trees! NOT THE TREES! NOOOO!!

To Foxy, sorry for the late response, but the crossovers are controlled by separate buttons. One button activates the entire crossover, but will not affect others
