A Standard Scenario for the WCML Trent Valley route set in the post British Rail sectorisation, pre privatisation period.

I've added links above to two excellent videos on YouTube which inspired me to do this, and hopefully more, post sectorisation scenarios.
Watch the videos, rate them up, subscribe to the two users and have a browse around their videos. There are some gems.

You are driving the 1F18 Euston to Lime Street service using an Inter City Class 87.
Starting south of Rugby it's non stop to Stafford.
It's a clear run through and the timing isn't too tight. Pretty useful for practicing running the power of the class 87 down for the nuetral zones without the penalty of tripping the loco if you miss one.

Difficulty : Easy
Traction : Class 87
Time period : Early 1990's

*Notes*
I've tried to follow a modern working timetable using stock mostly relevant to the period 1989 -1994
I've used the mk.4 Inter City DVT because we don't have a BR mk.3 DVT on available Steam
I've used a NSE Class 365 as we don't have a BR era Class 319 or 321 available on Steam

The use of a long list of DLC's was to try and capture the variety of traction and rolling stock on that part of the line in the early 1990's.

If you feel the scenario isn't good enough and you give it thumbs down, please let me know why. I won't jump down your throat or ridicule. I'm open to suggestion and criticism. The more you inform me of what you didn't like, the better understanding I have of what people look for in a scenario.

Excellent scenario, well done. Appart from driving kettles the Class 86-87 are a great loco to run. Really enjoyed the scenario, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Antoni glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it can be a trade off between using many different types of loco's to keep it interesting and not using too many different types and making the scenario unavailable for many who don't have the extra content. Thanks again for your comment.

Many thanks for an absolutely first rate scenario and also a superb showcase for the magnificent Trent Valley Route. Although this was a fairly straightforward run there was so much going on that it literally was 'edge of seat' stuff. One minute there is an express passing you on the up fast and then you find yourself overtaking a northbound freightliner! Scenarios like this really bring Trent Valley to life and there must be enormous scope - so more of the same please!

On just one minor point I think you will find that it is the WCML over Shap version of the Class 87 that you need to fully interact with the neutral sections.

Brilliant work.

The Inter City mk3 isn't available on Steam unfortunately. With my Steam Workshop scenario's, I stick to a policy to only use what is available on Steam, sorry.
