This mod adds Akkad under Sargon to the game, available for anyone with Brave New World.

Originally a collection of competing Akkadian and Sumerian city-states, the Akkadian Empire arose from humble beginnings. Sargon, the first emperor, transformed the workforce of Kish into a conquering army - then the largest on earth - and united all Mesopotamia for the first time under his rule. The empire flourished, and advances in irrigation allowed not only for the development of the highest population densities in the world at that time, but also a surplus that fueled trade with southern Arabia, central Asia, and the Mediterranean. An extensive network of roads and postal relays held the empire together for two centuries, until a global drought destabilized the region. After the collapse of their united empire, the legacy of the Akkadian people continued with the rise of new empires: the Assyrians and the Babylonians

This mod uses art that was previously used in the Sumer Civilization by Tomatekh. Since that mod has now moved on to using different art with a different leader(Gilgamesh -> Eannatum, we are using the art that was made for Gilgamesh), both Tomatekh and Janboruta gave us permission to do this to prevent art from going to waste.
