READ THIS!!!!!

better Projectiles makes archers who are normally really weak in vanilla a little better and more realistic. Once you get on you might notice that some units have an average damage of 50 when in some cases it was 35, but don't worry everything is basically scaled up so the different archers are even. When used in correlation with my More Realistic Celts mod it give the celts some of the best archers in the game just like in actual history.

The key words here are "a little better" and "realistic. This mod is anything but. Some tweak in the mod are not recorded in the game, for example germanic archers have a range of 200 while basic archer units have a range of 150. this is only a 33% increase to range however if you check on the battle map germanic archers have well over DOUBLE the range of normal archers. since heavy shot is now OP, germanic archers can now snipe your general unit from across the map in one volley.
Archers in vanilla were reidiculously bad, and needed a buff, but this was to much. It'd be nice if there was something between this and vanilla.

Thank you for this, I was so upset when I was trying out attila units in custom battle and found the best hunnic horse archers did pathetically. This mod has reinvigorated the combat system for me! My request, as I have been perusing the comments here, is a modification of another request. These missile units are too powerful against testeudos, but maybe the solution is giving units better missile block chance, especially in these formations, so as to make there be a scaling system of which units can survive missile volleys. That way the missiles still wreck the stuff of any unshielded unit. Thank you again!

hey dude i was talking to a friend and he said somthing intresting... it was something on the terms of makeing it were not all the archers had acess to heavy shots and the other shots so tier 1 archers and such dont use heavy shot on elite units and destroy them which i this is bs so if you can make it were only certain archers had acess to these types of arrows and have the types of arrows not to powerful but still better then vanilla
