no battery included, no roof (lmao)... Im not sure how this could be considered even close to functional

Doesn't work very well. can be broke very easily. (open both doors letting all oxygen out)

Sorry to necro. I'm a bit late to the SE party

From the picture, it looks like all you need to make it fully enclosed are 9 light armor blocks, or any other fully sealable blocks. I personally like that it was uploaded this way, because it allows you to see all the working parts at a glance.

Maybe build a version, that is a fully enclosed room.

@Wolverine thanks! Good to hear it still works. If I can find the time I will make a smaller version

Perfect! Used a Projector to build it in survival, works great.

I see what you mean. The system has no way to fill he room with oxygen as it follows the same pattern as when you want to go outside of your ship. You could fix it but it would required adding more timer blocks ( 2 more or so ). A different solution would by by using a hybrid system: to enter the airlock you use the sensors but once you are inside the airlock you use buttons ( do this by changing the sensor range in such a way that it only detects the outside of the airlock ). In case you get blown backwards you will not trigger the sensor. This way you keep the contraption easy and small.

I tried to use this and like every other airlock iv tried, i have a problem with beeing blown back towards the outer door when i open the inner door.

I took exactly what you made here and just sealed up the top of the irlock room and added a room past the inner door that has O2. Every time i enter the airlock and try to enter the room past the inner door i just get propelled backwards which in turn trips the outer door sensor.

I tried this in two ways.. the room past the inner door, i enclosed tghe whole back to make use of the vent you already had. Another i added an O2 Gen and a vent in that room considering that is how my ship will have O2.

The way your system is set up it does not seem to pressurize the airlock in time for the inner door to open.

Timer Enter 2
Turn Off - Inner Door
Open - Outer Door
(optional) Turn Off - Airlock Working Lights
(optional) Turn Off - Inner Door Unlocked Lights - Outer Door Locked Lights
(optional) Turn On - Inner Door Locked Lights - Outer Door Unlocked Lights

If using buttons then panel in center of airlock will be setup so the button facing into ship triggers Timer Exit 1 while button facing outside ship triggers Timer Enter 1. If using sensors then it will be automatic because the inner sensor will trigger Timer Exit 1. Timers for exit will be setup in reverse of enter. The lights are optional to allow you to know what the airlock status is. I recommend using Hangar Doors since they don't have buttons for someone to mess with.
