This fix is for the Spy Dead of Night that ships with SFM.

IF YOU WANT THE ALLCLASS MODELS AND MATERIALS READ ON!!!

For those of your looking for the AllClass DON, It is a totally different model for each class and is available to you if your Port in the TF2 Game Assets to SFM. The skins on the AllClass models are paintable in there current state and DO NOT need a fix. This Texture fix is for the Spy's DON that ships with SFM.

The Dead of Night AllClass models are in the Mod folder you extracted the TF2 VPKs into and found in the models\workshop\player\items\all_class\xms2013_jacket folder. To load them into SFM look up xms2013_jacket_{Class} in the model browser ("IF YOU HAVE EXTRACTED THE TF2 GAME VPKs TO SFM") since the update was added to TF2. If you don't find these models, then you have not extracted the tf2 Game Assets files since the update. (See Picture in the viewer above)




This is the material only. It will install to your Workshop folder and will not replace the original material unless you have given the workshop folder a higher priority than your TF folder in the Gameinfo.txt file.

dude, i've been looking everywhere for this cosmetic for scout and there's no scout version anywhere. i've ported ALL of the modern TF2 files over and NOTHING changed.

Steam Client, Software Library, Right Click on Source Filmmaker, Launch SDK. Or launch from the client and select Launch SDK from the pop up.

How do i find the SDK launcher?

Then you're maybe still finding the origin VTF or you're not painting properly.

Whenever I try to paint it, the colored parts just turn into an extremely dark version of their original color :sad_creep:

It zeros just like any other misc item These are just textures anyway, the model is the original model
