Endonym Empire localises country names. It is Ironman and 1.36 compatible.
Mod now supports other EU IV languages - German, Spanish and French.

Regions done so far:
Europe
Asia
North Africa

Still left:
Rest of Africa
Americas

Feedback and/or suggestions are welcome.

NOTE that countries in German, Italian, Low Countries', French, Iberian regions have their names in their respective regional language or dialect. For examle, Palatine uses Palatinate German "Kurpalz", not general German "Kurpfalz".
This is by design and not a mistake.

I no longer follow EU IV news so I missed the new patch.
I will try to update the mod this weekend!

Hello Vince, I am very sorry for missing your comment (almost a year) earlier.
The other languages did not work for me either. It was a problem with file encoding, which was fixed after converting the files from UTF-8 to UTF-8 BOM. The mod has been updated.
Thank you for reminding me of this issue! Please report if it still does not work.

Hello Raitis, please do you have any feedback on my problem of last year ?
"Hi the mod is not working for me anymore ? Playing in French but it as always worked for me in the past. I did not change anything and play with the same mods as usual."

It's still bugging in French. It seems that appears with the update of last May, any idea ?

I'm seeing england and scotland as EngNewName and ScoNewName

Given this mod changes country names and I don't believe I have another that does, would this be a bug?

I want to echo what was previously said - I'm pretty sure I've been subscribed to this mod for 8+ years at this point, thanks for keeping it up to date.
