The Dassault-Breguet Super Étendard (Étendard is French for "battle flag", cognate to English "standard") is a French retired carrier-borne strike fighter aircraft designed and produced by the French aircraft manufacturer Dassault-Breguet. It was primarily used by the French Navy, and was also operated by Iraq (on a temporary lease) and Argentina.

The Super Étendard was developed during the 1970s after French officials decided against procuring a navalised version of the SEPECAT Jaguar. It drew heavily upon the Étendard IVM, being equipped with a more powerful engine as well as a new wing and improved avionics drawn from Dassault's other aircraft. The Super Étendard performed its maiden flight in October 1974 and entered service with the French Navy in June 1978. In French service, the type saw use during several conflicts including the Kosovo war, the war in Afghanistan and the military intervention in Libya.

This aircraft is a semi-faithful replica of the Super Etendard, a French naval strike aircraft. The airframe is 1:1 with the real thing, but the controls have been simplified a bit for ease of use.

The aircraft's main armament are the four AS.30L air-to-ground missiles mounted under the wings. In Stormworks, warheads are pretty general purpose so you can use these against basically any target. To guide these, a laser targeting pod comes attached to the aircraft. The laser, when unlocked, follows the player's mouse (it points at wherever you look). However, you can also lock points on the ground by looking at them and pressing "4"; the laser and camera will then follow this point as you fly, and the missile will fly towards this point. You can also see where the laser is pointing on the MFD. It has a 90 by 90 degree forward field of view.

The aircraft also comes equipped with a basic scan radar. In real life, it was used for ships, but here you can use it to scan and pick up any kind of target.

For carrier operations, the Super Etendard has a retractable electric connector by the tail that you can use as an arresting hook; simply flip the switch near the bottom of the cockpit to do so. The jet also has air-to-air refueling capabilities with the connector in the nose.

Startup and takeoff is very simple:

1. Get in the cockpit and turn on the "Main Electricity" switch.
   
2. Turn off the parking brake and turn on the engine. It will automatically spool up.
   
3. Throttle up a bit and taxi out to the runway. Enable speed limiter if needed (some multiplayer servers have a speedcap)
   
4. Raise gear and activate weapon arm switches. Turn on HUD and MFD. Touch the MFD to switch to the next screen.

Notes:

• Try not to maneuver too much while locked on something because the TGP can still be a bit sensitive to movement and move off target a bit
  
• When engaging moving targets guide the missiles manually
  
• The MGs have 800 rounds of ammo, spray and pray when attacking air targets
