The Three Sorrows — XMS Grief, XMS Misery, XMS Agony

The Three Sorrows are a chained triad of CVs designed by Rhone to function as a modular, docked super-vessel. Alone, each sister has her role. Together, they form a single machine with shared purpose: to carve, build, destroy, and endure.
Dock the XMS Misery to the front of the XMS Agony, then dock the XMS Grief to Agony’s rear. The three hulls interlock cleanly using the pre-lit alignment arrays, forming a stable, seamless combined ship Rhone simply calls: THE SORROWS

Below is the intended player progression order and how to use each sister:

1. XMS GRIEF — The First Sister (Miner & Support)
“Grief is the weight you carry forward.”
Spawn the Grief first. She’s your early-game resource backbone — the miner, the deconstructor, the industrial heart.
Use her 8 mining lasers, universal + advanced constructors, and deconstructors to gather the rare components needed to spawn the Misery and eventually the Agony.
Her sub-zero idle drain makes her ideal for long mining sessions and server play.

2. XMS MISERY — The Second Sister (Combat Evolution)
“Misery grows teeth.”
The Misery is the middle child: born small, built to grow. Spawn her once the Grief has fed you enough materials then farm Abandoned POIs for extenders to begin her evolution.
She begins with a light weapons loadout, but as you upgrade to Core 17 she becomes a devastating strike craft capable of railgun or plasma storms (or whatever flavor of storm you're in the mood for).

Dock her to the front of the Agony for long campaigns — her sponson armor protects crucial systems, and her decoys keep enemy fire where it belongs.

3. XMS AGONY — The Third Sister (Carrier & Hub)
“Agony is unfinished until her sisters arrive.”
Agony is the logistics core, the storage belly, the carrier spine. She is spawned last and only reveals her beauty when joined with Grief and Misery. When merged, it is her underslung bridge that steers the fleet.
With 6 × 640k cargo, 10 × 16k sort boxes, full medical, and interior space for upgrades, she stabilizes the fleet.
Her docking lights and ramps allow perfect alignment with both sisters, creating one striking, seamless hull.

The Sorrows is not one vessel — it is a fleet in formation, built to suffer, endure, and reclaim.
