GTM Fixes

Popis
It is time to roll your GTM trucks out of the garage and wash the dust off. Change the oil, install some fresh tires, and go get some deliveries done.

Fixes for other trucks can be found here

This mod is a companion mod for the 3 GTM trucks that can be found here on Steam. This mod fixes various issues on each truck. Click the following links to take you straight to each truck's Steam Workshop page:

Peterbilt 567

Kenworth T800

Kenworth W900B

BONUS: There was also a GTM Kenworth T610 on Steam, but for some reason, it got removed a few years ago. If you are one of those fortunate to have hung onto your T610, you can walk out behind the garage and pull the tarp off of it now. It is included in this mod.

Development stopped on the GTM trucks after ATS V1.39. These trucks were built with very high quality. But, due to changes within the game in the past few years, several issues have cropped up. With a little fixing here and there, they are ready for ATS 1.57 and up.

This mod fixes the following issues on each truck:

Terribly bright headlights.
Extra bright mirrors in the daytime and too dark at night.
Bad reflection issues on the interior door glass and windshield.
Bad audio reverberation in the cab.
Extra bright gps screen, you couldn't read the speed limit at night.
Front hood mirrors that were either too high or too low.
Info center on the instrument cluster was a little too bright.
Numerous warning messages that show up in the game log file.
Crash when selecting an 8x4 chassis on the 567.
Fixed the fuel level bargraph on the 567, previously stuck on full.
Glare and reflections in the glass on the gauges sometimes made the gauges hard to read.

Added the following new features:
Support for the interior shadows option.
For the 567, a short 8x4 chassis and a long 8x4 chassis, both with rear steer.

THIS PART IS VERY IMPORTANT
In the mod manager, enable this mod and position it anywhere above the GTM trucks. It won't work if it is below the trucks.

If you wish to use my Real Good Headlights mod with these trucks, position the RGH mod above GTM Fixes. If you prefer the headlights I put on the GTM trucks but still want to use RGH with your other trucks, then position GTM Fixes above Real Good Headlights.

A NOTE ON THE HEADLIGHTS: The headlights I've included in GTM Fixes are patterned after the headlights that I am developing for the 1970 Dodge Charger that is coming to the Project Road Trip addon for American Truck Simulator. I'm trying to represent the older incandescent sealed beam headlight bulbs as closely as possible. These headlights are still a work in progress and might get an update or two before they are finalized.

There have been a few other fix mods for the GTM trucks. None of those were used in the making of this mod. I never installed any of them, nor did I study any of them. I only studied the trucks themselves and learned what was needed to make them work nicely, once again. This mod will work with just one truck enabled or any combination of the 4. It took a lot of work to make this mod do what it does and to pass all the validation tests of the SCS Workshop Uploader. I hope everyone can enjoy these nice GTM trucks now.

Just like the 3 truck mods, this mod does not need to be updated when a new game version is released. The only thing that would prevent this from working properly is if SCS makes some major changes to how the trucks operate. If that happens, I will be quickly updating this mod accordingly.

AdrielGH123, in the mod manager, did you position GTM Fixes above the 567? If not, then the headlights will be very messed up on the 567.

Can you fix the rear lights on the Peterbilt 567 because when driving at night the lights are green and the front lights are very bright, can you fix it?

@C.Simpson In Order to narrow this down .. You'll need you to remove all other mods so you have just the truck(s) only. Often various combinations of other mods can cause crashes if the mods use the same parts and/or names within the file structure. By removing these variables.. you can determine if it's the actual truck crashing or it's any supporting mods you had active when it crashed.

I am attempting to use the Peterbilt 567. I'm able to change the cab and chasis, however when I go to change the engine, it hangs, then crashes, I'll look at the log file to see what it says next time I try it

C. Simpson and the_intimidator2, are you guys using a Mac by any chance? I'm working on a fix for the trucks that affects some Mac users.

C. Simpson, take a look at the last few lines of your game.log.txt file. Start the game up, go straight to the dealership and get it to crash. Then look at the log file. There is usually a clue near the end unless it is an immediate crash. If it hangs for a few seconds, then a clue is usually there. Let me know what you find.

The mod keeps crashing my game anytime I go to change something in the dealership on either of the trucks advice?

Powersurge, yes I plan on updating the cabin accessories soon.

th3_intimidator2, can you provide a little more info such as which GTM trucks you are using and if you got them from Steam. Also, do you have GTM Fixes placed above the trucks? Do you have a lot of old outdated truck mods enabled? And what is taking place when the crash happens?

still crashs for me
