The original mod removes your ability to make artillery factories unintentionally. I updated the mod so I can use it in a modpack that I use for MP. While I was at it, I also added in more companies and rebalanced some of the existing ones so the AI can use them as well.

Original dev, if you want this taken down, just DM me or comment or whatever and I'll remove it.
