Map Icons Tweak

A survivor's map is their memory. When that memory fails, so does the survivor.

This mod makes key points of interest distinct, sharp, and easy to find. It cuts through the map's clutter so you can waste less time remembering and more time... well, surviving. The icons are clearer, but still look like they belong in this grim, unforgiving world.

This is a SERVER-SIDE MOD.
It must be enabled on the server. All survivors will share the same, clearer vision of their world (and its many dangers).

What It Does
  • Replaces key map icons for bosses, altars, and other critical structures with higher-visibility versions.
  • Fully Configurable: You decide what’s important. Toggle each category on or off in the mod settings.
  • Icons automatically update when an object is repaired, rebuilt, or changes its state.
  • Ends the "which suspicious-looking rock are you talking about?" debate. Now, everyone's map is on the same, clear page.

Supported Objects & Categories
Each category below can be toggled in your mod settings.

How to Configure
  1. From the main menu, open Host Game.
  2. Select your world and go to the Mods tab.
  3. Find “Map Icons Tweak” and press Configure Mod.
  4. Toggle each category on or off depending on what you need to see at a glance.

In the Constant, clarity is survival.
If a clearer icon helps you find loot (or spot danger) one second faster, that's one more second you're not a ghost.
