The error is related to the mod "More Vanilla Textures."
I added it to the "load After" list.
This didn't fix the problem, but it will now indicate that the mod is included in the wrong order, and the "Auto-sort mods" button will resolve this.
Yes, the retextures of the "H.C_AnimalReskins_Complete2 (Continued)" mod will overlap the retextures of the "More Vanilla Textures" mod, but the baby animals from the "More Vanilla Textures" mod will still remain, as will all objects or animals that are not affected by the "H.C_AnimalReskins_Complete2 (Continued)" mod.
By default your mod gets sorted as such: https://rentry.co/gq39pm8m
Which gives me 2 red errors on game load (search the log for string "chicken"): https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/49c0fede111ded00beaa60551ecbcaef
Since your description said load after any retexture, the last in my load order I cold find is Alpha Animals retextured, so in RimSort I made an User Rule to load your mod after that and no more red errors and beautiful animals \o/
Which mod are you talking about?
I would have added it to the "load After" list if I knew its name.
After confirming the presence and correction of this error.
When checking the mods "Alpha Animals & Alpha Animals retextured" I could not find any red errors.
