Affinity Styled Structures

描述
Overview:

- every building has a variant depending on your affinity
- these variants are identical - but use visuals that correspond to your affinity

- Textures/effects redone for Acrin/Voice --- Now Greenish-yellow themed
- Textures/effects redone for Cyber --- Now Orange/Yellow themed
- Textures redone for some Terrain --- wasteland is sickly green, volcanic has green lava
- NOTE: Any you dont like, just go to Data/Video/Textures and remove yourself!

[NEW] For Affinity Units --- use this mod:

- must be placed ABOVE A.S.S in mod order

-NOTE: Not compatible with Immersive Graphics mod. Maybe one day :(

ISSUE:


As of this initial release, the devs have not added in removeBuilding, so i must resort to a super hacky solution

- You must dismantle your construction yard
- You must select the HQ (unit) and use the new ability.
- This adds the new construction yard for your affinity. You can’t construct anything with the initial one!

EDIT:
Its fixed! Praise the devs for adding removeBuilding by request!

You need to also update A.S.S. Engineers Revamped, if you use that, otherwise those engineers will make broken cities when you found more than just the original

The HQ one is needed for the Acrin HQ when playing furtive tribunal seen in the screenshots
The Cheat one adds in some custom features such as pools of goo which are great for aesthetics
The Engineers one lets engineers build structures in addition to the construction yard!

[NEW] --- The units one makes it so the human/cyber units produced by your Voice structures, actually have Voice visuals now!

Yeah thats a bug with how it auto populates tooltips. Might fix at some point but im busy with more interesting changes right now.

So I downloaded the mod and playing as a human faction; is the research tree meant to say "Voice" on it? The buildings appear human still, but just the text in the research tree seems a bit misleading.

Yeah. Maybe one day ill try and make a version that combines the 2 - if i get permission from the Immersive Graphics author. I slightly surprised it crashes though. Would have thought theyd just conflict

I take it this isn't compatible with immersive graphics as I get a crash every time I use the two together.

appreciated. but dont put down the devs too much --- unlike every other game in this genre, they actually gave access to the visuals for all the architecture placement! Not to mention how amazing all the assets available are!

They even added in a function by my request to make this work better (removeBuilding)

Currently working on it. Its gonna be atleast a few days, probably around a week or 2. Maybe longer.
Not only do I have to change all the models and weapon effects, and animations --- i also have to change bone attachment locations and change the timing of projectiles spawning. Its taking quite a bit of time for even just 1 unit.
