Western Maryland Decapods to Elkins

In this scenario, we revisit the Western Maryland Thomas Subdivision, this time with the infamous I2 Decapods powering a train of empty coal hoppers back to the mountains. Although in many cases it was possible for a single locomotive to power such an empty train, on this day, we have an unusual abundance of cars, requiring mid-train and rear pushers.

Our day starts with a running start as we approach Knobmount Tunnel, continuing through the yard where we make a pick up of additional cars and helper engine (a WM H9!). Eventually we will make an interchange with the B&O at Rawlings, before heading on our way towards Elkins!

The scenario requires ALL Western Maryland and B&O retro packs made available by High Iron Simulations, as well as both the Western Maryland H9 and I2 add-ons by Machine Rail.

SIDE NOTE: This scenario was developed nearly two years ago now, but we had to wait for the required blue prints to become available for publishing. A couple more "new" scenarios may be coming soon! Stay tuned and enjoy!
