WAVE - Dawn of the Dead Patch

Kindly download WAVE first as it contains the animation files.
This is a patch that makes WAVE's _reg_human_movement values work with Dawn of the Dead.

This patch was long due because of how heavily modified said file is on Dawn of the Dead, and WAVE currently has no proper set of modern animations at the moment that fits DOTD's 90s setting.

Hence, the early stages of this patch is mostly making WAVE work with DOTD, and will be subsequently updated once the pool of modern tactical animations grows or as previous animations get revamped.

Activate in this order:
1. First is Dawn of the Dead
2. All DOTD Submods in their right order
3. Warrior250's Animation Variety Expanded.
4. WAVE-Dawn of the Dead Patch.

I would recommend using a Mod Manager, activating mod in Extras messes up the load order.

I say again, download WAVE as it contains the files needed.

What's changed?
In usual WAVE fashion: Sprint, Reload, Cover, Death animations and so much more have been expanded.

The standing aiming stance for SMG and MGun weapons are changed to improve posture, or in the case of Mguns, look a bit sensible at the cost of FPS viewmodel.

Rifle and Pistol stances will come eventually.

Absolutely mate, it's in the works. I'm currently just working on completing WAVE before I focus on modern animations.

nah, i just use the ingame manager

@null, yeah, I've noticed this too and chalk it up mostly to the In-game mod manager being buggy, have you tried a Mod Manager to activate the mods?

@h, that's strange, I haven't exactly tested my mods yet for multiplayer use. But I'll see about packing the next update in a .pak file to decrease chances of desync next time!

I think we have a misunderstanding here

Exactly this patch for WAVE can change itself (files integrity) without steam mod update after any game and that's what causes desync
Honestly this is first time encountering something like this and I've been trying to find why and how this works

So far we have solved this manually prohibiting the mod folder
I still find this very strange, so I hope this is an isolated and very strange case.

Afar from that, your animation mods are really cool, I've been using them since release.
