描述
What is this?
This mod allows you to split your community by letting your members take over your previous base, creating a new community that will be allied to you, and with which you will be able to participate in trading, ask for help, and receive quests. You will leave the community with the followers that you currently have.

In order to split your community, your camp needs to have at least 3 other members, accomodation, an outhouse, a water source (well),a campfire and a watchtower. It also needs to be enclosed by walls and have a gate to guarantee their safety.

You will have a speech text "About our community..." available when targeting any character from your community that isn't actively following you.

Why?
These split communities will occupy their own place in your world, and will behave as any other community — bringing new members in, trading with you, giving you quests, and fighting raiders and zombie hordes. You can essentially repopulate the world on your own ;)


Recommended to start a new game (but can be added to current games). Not tested in Co-op or StoryMode.

Supports: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, SimplifiedChinese, Ukrainian, Russian, BrazilianPortuguese.


Settings
The settings file can be found in the mod's folder under "Settings_SplitCommunity.xml"
  • SpawnEquipmentForSplitCommunity. Whether to spawn useful equipment for the split community, if they don't have them already. Things like an axe, a shovel, hunting knife and flint are all essential for them to survive. (default true)

I probly found the cause, some fence of the walls of split community still belong to me, instead of the new community.

I did build an outhouse and a barn 10 to 20 blocks outside the wall, and abandoned them, they were neutral structures before I split community. But there was a rabbit trap and some graves farther away I forgot to abandon.
I just did a test now on splitting my current community, no structures outside apart from graves. The perimeter editor is still same. sorry..

That's probably because you had other structures built around the map maybe? And when you split your community, the new community takes over everything you have claimed / taken over, which affects the perimeter. Could that be the reason?

also the perimeter editor in F8 menu for split community is a crazy, hundreds of points are marked

yes my previous base have 2 barns which should house 16 people. I left 2 people there, and they dont repopulate at all. Not sure if it's just me. Thank you for the reply bro.

WOW just saw this mod, super cool! I have been looking to mods like this for a long time. Btw is it also possible for a Slaving mod to be created? That you can force looters/NPCs into slavery (not recruit) and work for you, like farming, burning charcoal. I wonder if the game mechanic allows it. Thank you!

probly best to just leave it in as resupplying all ur outposts would be super tedious, but a potential work around would be that they give you your weapons back and say something like "here we can manage on our own" or "here youll need these more then us" or something like that....if you do take out unlimited ammo all we would have to do is make sure they have a iron/lead mine for unlimited arrows/bullets and it would be fine

Hahahaha yeah, I think they also get unlimited ammo. I could make it so allied communities dont have it unlimited, but other options hm... no idea
