Consumption Tax Efficiency

This is a small, lightweight UI mod that adds a calculated efficiency value to the consumption tax selection menu.

The mod displays a new value representing "Income per 100 Authority" for each taxable good. This is calculated directly in the UI using the formula: (Predicted Tax Revenue / Authority Cost) * 100.

This allows for the direct, at-a-glance comparison of the fiscal efficiency of all potential consumption taxes.

Technical Details:
  • Overwrites a single vanilla localization key (ADD_CONSUMPTION_TAX_ENTRY_COST) to inject the new value.
  • Should be compatible with virtually all other mods that do not also modify the same localization key.

Thats the neat part, you actually dont need any labor saving production methods until you run out of peasants entirely.
I'll try to check what can be done about everything else, but it sounds complicated.

Maybe the expected increase in revenue based on all the buildings of that type in your nation, I always do monopolies so I can see why people who don't wouldn't get as much. The company screen is so bad, it doesn't even show what industries the company can expand into. Maybe something that could help you see if a government monopoly could be worth it?
With labor saving production methods I just never use them because I'm not sure what I realisticly gain from them until I run out of peasants entirely. Same with the build screen showing you a nebulous expected profits value but not useful things like if you're producing inputs/outputs connected to it locally. They keep changing things so it's hard to know how it would be improved.

@Adil3tr: what calculations exactly do you miss in labor saving PMs screen? And what about companies? It's really hard to predict their income.
