Thingamajigs Charger

描述
Enhanced RNG Counterpart to Grabbin' 'n Swattin' Charger, includes the newly made pummel attack into the RNG.

The required files are OPTIONAL difficulty mods.

An RNG counter part of these three mods fused together:

Grabber Charger

Swatting Charger

Pummeler Charger

Remove any of these two mods if you wish to use this one.

Allows the Charger to swat the survivors to throw them around with an alternative melee attack, and also allows the Charger to pick survivors without the requirements of charging; the two are interchangeable counterparts to the Charger's melee.

The Charger has three different attacks to pick whenever he punches, he can do his regular claw attack which lacks any gimmick, pummeling to deal a devastating damage to one survivor also rendering them very vulnerable, swatting to throw survivors around while paralyzing them for a moment, and grabbing survivors without requiring a charge.

(I am not taking any requests, also be careful with other scripts and mutations as they might break this one.)

The beta charger mod which inspired me to make these mods is nice, but a tad iffy, considering the Pummeler is already here... i should definitely make him able to just stun with charge, since you're not the sole person who has mentioned that beta feature; it is possible to technically make it percentage based too.

About the Swatting + Pummeler, yuhh, i'll release it soon, the entire infrastructure is done for it.

You certainly made him more interesting considering I don't like the Charger all that much.

I'm essentially trying to make him into a melee infected, your fast pounding mod + 25 damage pound; with his charge ability only knocking you out of the way (or stunning all survivors nearby but no charge), although the beta mods either crash or don't work well with your mods. With the idea taken from the Big Daddy from Bioshock.

And to follow up on what someone's already said, Swatting + Pummeler combined would be dope. Again, much love for your work, very good stuff.

The charger is pretty cool he is definitely one of my favorites, i always thought that he was a very neglected mutant in the modding community... that's why i wanted to give him attention, mechanically speaking.

He is pretty similarly sized to the tank height-wise, not that much shorter, is just that both are slouched over... Tank is way wider.

About the spawn rarity, yeah you do make a good point about it, but so far i have been focused on finishing any needed tweaks to those mechanics.

I do have been considering on making a SI swapper mechanic, which replaces chargers with other SI as they spawn under probability, so the Charger's spawn is recycled but Charger feels like the spawn less; if you utilize the Meaner then it requires a coordinated enough team to handle vanilla spawning Chargers.

And i have seen some people playing with the vanilla bots, which more so makes it noteworthy that it might be overwhelming for some kinds of players.

Is there a mod that makes the charger spawn more rare? i love these buffs and with his design, he should be a mini boss considering he's only like 2 feet smaller than the tank

Your issue is a local issue, haven't been able to replicate it on my game... you likely stumbled over something that is not compatible with this.
