描述
Real Solar Systems should be real, so here I present the 1st in a range of Real Solar Systems. Welcome to Trappist 1.

ALL Planets in the Trappist 1 System are tidally locked! This IS modelled in this system.

TRAPPIST-1 is in the constellation Aquarius, five degrees south of the celestial equator. It is a relatively close star located 40.66±0.04 light-years from Earth, with a large proper motion and no companion stars.

It is a red dwarf of spectral class M8.0±0.5, meaning it is relatively small and cold. With a radius 12% of that of the Sun, TRAPPIST-1 is only slightly larger than the planet Jupiter (though much more massive).

TRAPPIST-1 is orbited by seven planets, designated TRAPPIST-1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f, 1g, and 1h in alphabetic order going out from the star. These planets have orbital periods ranging from 1.5 to 19 days, at distances of 0.011–0.059 astronomical units (1.7–8.9 million km).

Adding 7 small rocky planets (vanilla types like Moon/Mars/Earth, scaled to ~60-70 km diameters for SE playability—real ones are ~5,000-7,000 km, but SE caps at ~120 km without crashes).

Setting close, coplanar orbits around the star (scaled distances: real system spans ~9 million km; we'll use 500-2,000 km separations for visibility and to fit SE's ~1 billion km world limit).

Orbital speeds: Slowed for fun (e.g., 2-12 hour periods vs. real 1.5-18 days) so you can watch motion without waiting weeks.

Gravity: Default ~1g for habitability, but tweakable.

Animation: Planets rotate and orbit the star; enable Real Orbits Mod for player ship orbits.
