📡 CCTV System

This mod adds a fully functional CCTV system for Arma 3, using ACE Interaction and Eden Editor modules.
You can place cameras and screens in your mission and link them to create immersive surveillance systems.

🛠️ How to use
1. Place modules in Eden

In the editor, go to the category CCTV.

You will find two modules:

CCTV Camera → Attach to any object to make it a camera.

CCTV Screen → Attach to any object with screens to make it a monitor.
PS: In Sp, if you use zeus is going to break the system and doesnt work, so use ["CCTV_Rebuild", []] call CBA_fnc_globalEvent; in debug console to rebuild and is going to work again. Is a problem that I am still working.

2. Synchronization

Synchronize (F5 → Connect) the CCTV Camera module with the object you want to use as a camera (for example, a pole, wall, or prop).

Synchronize the CCTV Screen module with the object you want to act as a display (for example, tripod screens, laptops, or computers).

You can synchronize multiple cameras and screens in the same mission.

3. ACE Interaction

In-game, approach a synchronized screen.

Use the ACE Interaction menu (default: Windows key).

You will see a CCTV menu with all available cameras.

Select the camera you want to display on that screen.

You can also turn screens OFF from the same menu.

4. Labels and Sides

Each camera module has an attribute Label → the name that will appear in the ACE menu (e.g., Entrance Camera, Control Tower).

Both cameras and screens can be limited to a Side (BLUFOR, OPFOR, Independent, Civilian, or Any). Only players of that side will see the interaction menu.

🎥 Features

Unlimited number of cameras and screens.

ACE interaction to switch feeds or turn off screens.

Eden module synchronization → no need to manually edit variables.

Side restriction for factions.

Works in SP and MP (all players see the same feed).

Future updates will include additional features such as CTAB integration and helmet cameras.

What do you mean when you say attach the module to an object? You mean like with the init field? Like using the attachTo command?

Hi everyone. I am steel dealing with the bugs that has the mod. I will try to fix it in this week, I know the reasson that is happening but to be honest I am new on this so....I dont know how to fix it XD.

"Bug" you can't attach the camera to a moving object. Even switching on and off does not change the direction (it jeeps the one initiated at the beginning) Even the distance gets bigger and bigger when you drive away.

1. Awesome mod! But it seems the camera module's Label attribute breaks sometimes, and just displays "Camera 1, Camera 2,..." anyways.

This may be a large request, but it would be cool to be able to synchronize specific camera modules to specific screen modules - to create seperate circuits that can be acessed from specific locations only.

In other words, I would like to be able to have different closed circuits for different locations. The way it is set up now all cameras are accessible to all screens and vise versa. It would be cool to limit this without needing to make use of multiple factions!

Yes, please add an option to setup the direction of the camera, right now it shows what's on the left side of the camera (coxhound security essentials, search for CCTV). I love it!

Good mod! Only thing I noticed is it seems to record the back of some camera models because its always recording from the front of the model, but some camera models (like the vanilla cameras) are backwards so it displays whats in the rear of the camera and not where the lens actually is on the model. Is there any way to change what side of the object the camera module is displaying?
