Levies Revamped

描述
Levies Revamped is an attempt to redefine what levies are and how they function in game.

Instead of viewing Levies as peasants and cannon fodder and a non challenge. They are now considered the backbone of an army and improve with innovation. Hence they have been re-classified as "Footmen"

Levy Footmen can become stronger than ungarrisoned Light Footmen given time especially in high-late game but will not neglect the uses and benefits of Light Footmen.

I made this to help with immersion and challenge for high-late game.
My thought process was as technology improves, these regular footmen will become better armed by the states they reside in and keeping up with Men at Arms.

i wonder if you'll add an patch for the baroque era mod so unlocking gunpowder weapons would give an damage boost to represent levies being armed with arquebuses

It might be another mod conflicting? But I'll go ahead a remove it from the mod and make a ui patch. Its mainly so it works with the big battle view mod

If I click that close button it just completely close the UI not just minimize it. Whenever I want to check the battle again I click the army, that stupid UI just opens again.
Most things about this mod is honestly so good, that it should be in the base game, expect for that battle UI which is very intrusive, I have to remove it manually from the file.
Perhaps there should be a version of this mod without that UI, it's called "Levies Revamped" after all.

you should add bonus's for one of the cultural pillars that the anglo-saxons have to simulate the Fyrd, wich was the freemen who gathered as the levy part time soldiers of the Anglo-saxon kingdoms

The minimize uses the same info as vanilla so im not sure what the issue is.

It's just I can't observe the battle while clicking other tiles to retreat, because the fullscreen UI blocked the map.
But if I close the fullscreen UI, I don't have the battle information anymore, so I wouldn't know when to retreat.
The vanilla battle UI is just way better in term of size, it doesn't block anything.

The mod does not touch anything with retreat, it works for me. Perhaps your trying to retreat when its not "Late Battle Phase"?
If you test with the mod off the same thing happens. So idk what issues your running into

If I leave the fullscreen UI, the army is deselected so I cannot give the order to retreat.
