The developers have already used my fix in the last major patch!

This is a workshop item that allows you to mount your voice over language from Half-Life 2 parts to Synergy.
Now it's working with all Half-Life 2, Lost Coast, Episode One and Two localized editions.

NOTE
If that's not working, please check your Synergy install directory, if that not is path like disk C:
e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Synergy"
so, copy the "Workshop" folder to your Synergy installed directory, e.g.
"D:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/"

List of available audio languages:
  • English < Default
  • Русский (Russian)
  • Español (Spanish)
  • Français (French)
  • Deutsch (German)
  • Italiano (Italian) [only in: hl2,lostcoast,ep1]
  • Korean [only in: hl2,lostcoast,ep1]
  • Traditional Chinese [only in: hl2,lostcoast,ep1]
  • Simplified Chinese [only in: hl2,lostcoast,ep1]

If you haven't played Half-Life 2, Lost Coast, Episode One or Episode Two and haven't ever changed game language, please read this small instruction below.

Just go into Half-Life 2 properties (same for Lost Coast, Ep1 and Ep2) and select your language.
First subscribe for this Workshop Item and complete the following steps:

  1. Go to your Steam Library
  2. Find Half-Life 2 in your Games List > click right mouse button on it
  3. Choose Properties > go to the Language Tab
  4. Select your Language > press Close
  5. Play Synergy and Enjoy! ;)

@Davizildo da paçoca , Half-Life 2 and Synergy do not have official support for the Brazilian localization, if you know where to get it, please let me know and I will post it on the Steam Workshop

In addition, this addon is no longer used, since 10 years ago the developers added support for all missing localizations from Half-Life 2 and its episodes

You no longer need to use this. All localization voiceovers from Half-Life 2 and Episodes, including Lost Coast, are already available in SynergyMod, including such voiceover languages as Russian, German, French, Spanish and other voiceover languages.

Hello, sorry for very later answer. Synergy and Half-Life 2 games not have officialy support Turkish subtitles. But you can try enable it from console or game launch option for Synergy because in game files we can see closecaption_turkish.txt I didn't tested it yet and didn't guarantee if it works.

So! To show subtitles on Turkish language you need start Synergy and open developer console (press ~ ` on your keyboard, WARNING: if developer console is not opened, so you need enable it via Options > Keyboard > Advanced, and type this: cc_lang turkish (and you need press enter), then close developer console and check subtitles in game.

Or you can add launch option via Steam Library > Synergy > Properties > Launch Option: +cc_lang turkish , after this press Close and start game or restart it (if game already launched)

CAN YOU MAKE Turkish caption support please? my friend dont know english so i am explaining him what they say. Make caption support please!

This created before they released update with this fix and add additional languages support to the game.

So for our timeline (current days) this workshop item not working and not needed since 2015-th year.

And yes, devs not update Synergy anymore.
