I'm Darth Bacon and these are my favorite animations on the workshop.

I made this mod to use with Star Wars Galaxy at War, but it works for Vanilla Men of War as well. It might work with other big overhauls but this mod will need to be activated after as it overwrites vanilla animations

Instructions:

Click subscribe, then load up the main game. Go into options then mod, then activate this mod: (darthbacon animation overhaul).

Details:

I didn't make any of these animations myself. This is my personal animation set I use, ported from Gates of Hell, and from Call to Arms mods: WarFighter, and Halo Silent Cartographer. I was given permission by the original mod authors. I grew tired of the outdated vanilla Assault Squad 2 animations. It introduces new animations for death, running, walking, aiming, firing, standing, prone and more. If you're looking to freshen up the Men of War experience then this mod is for you.

- I provided a video showing all the sounds and animations, as well as a demo battle with the mod.
- The troopers in the preview images are from the Galactic Frontier submod

October 2 2025 - Updated and replaced a couple animations which fixes ai units clipping inside of objects and cover. The new ported animations should be good now when ai take cover.

Sometimes, the steam workshop will not auto update files for men of war for some reason so you will have to either resubscribe the mod, and if that doesn't work, delete the mod from your game files in the mod folder, and then launch the game so it will auto mount the new updated mod.

@Jonesy45 Galactic Frontier submod by Trey. Those are Imperial Navy Commandos which will come out with the next update which is set to release soon.

@CalvinRancor I'm not getting that issue nor anyone I play with. Possibly another mod?
