Why Do SDU Tokens Matter?
SDU Tokens unlock Storage Deck Upgrades in the ECHO-4 menu. These raise Backpack slots, Bank capacity, Lost Loot capacity, and ammo caps for pistols, SMGs, assault rifles, shotguns, and sniper rifles. SDUs are earned by playing, not bought with cash or Eridium. They’re also tied to your Vault Hunter, so new characters need to earn their own upgrades. That mix pushes you to explore, clear activities, and actually interact with the world, which is good design if you hate inventory Tetris.
5 Ways to Get More SDU Tokens
1. Capture Safehouses
Clear a Safehouse to flip it as a fast travel point and claim 40 SDU Tokens. Check your map, push through the hostile pocket, secure the room. You’ll see typical hub services there after.

2. Secure Silos
Silos function as fast travel spots that usually include vending machines. Unlocking a Silo also gives 40 SDU Tokens. Great to chain with nearby encounters as you sweep a zone.

3. Solve Evocarium Puzzles
Find the Evocarium stand, ping the yellow orbs, grab all of them, then interact with the statue. Each completed Evocarium awards 15 SDU Tokens. Quick wins if you path efficiently between orbs.

4. Tag Vault Symbols for the Myth of the Vault challenge
Hidden Vault Symbols are back. Each symbol you interact with pays 5 SDU Tokens. Zoom your map often, hunt for paint wear, rock faces, odd corners. It adds up fast while you’re questing.

5. Return Claptrap’s Lost Capsules
Claptrap scattered supply capsules across Kairos. Bring a capsule to a Safehouse to decrypt it and you’ll pocket 15 SDU Tokens plus an Echolog Care Package. There are many, so fold these into your route.
