After the infamous Montreal Screwjob, a disgruntled billionaire of Canadian/British heritage purchased the former Hart promotion and utilised their media connections to establish Stampede Pro Wrestling (SPW) as a force in the North American Market. Due to a long-standing friendship with Ted Turner, Richard Alastor Cromwell was able to purchase Bret Hart's contract from WCW, along with key talent from the promotion, which either worked for the former Stampede promotion or had history with the legendary and infamous Hart Dungeon.

If this wasn't bad enough for McMahon, his actions in Montreal had led to serious problems in his own company. In protest of Vince's betrayal of the "Hitman" and frustrated by the influence of people like Shawn Michaels and Paul Levesque (Triple H), many of the WWF's key talents and future prospects would walk out of the company and join Bret Hart in the new company. Among these names were Mick Foley, Rick Rude, Davey Boy Smith (British Bulldog), Jim Neidhart, Dustin Rhodes, Vader, Rocky Marvia, and Steve Austin.

With a seemingly limitless amount of money from a furious investor and multiple connections, Stampede Pro Wrestling is poised to take over the wrestling world. If nothing else, Vince McMahon is likely to regret the Montreal Screwjob.

Will you help Vince McMahon and the WWF in dealing with this new threat? Will you side with ECW, now no longer the third-largest promotion in the USA? Will you join WCW and help Stampede crush the WWF, before becoming the top promotion in North America? Will you ignore the wars in America and look towards the East? Or will you join the revolution and help the Hitman, the Texas Rattlesnake, and the Brahma Bull get revenge on McMahon and the WWF?
