Det's Xenotypes for [NL] Facial Animation

描述
If you are experiencing parts being drawn for other xenotypes it probably means steam has not automatically updated [NL] Facial Animation, please unsubscribe and subcribe to [NL] Facial Animation to get on the latest version.

With the release of the new [NL] Facial animation update, xenotype support is now possible.

This pack patches Det's Keshig, Avaloi, and Stoneborn if you have any of them installed to work with [NL] Facial animation.

Keshig head is redrawn with a new split jaw mouth that animates.

Avaloi are given a new lid type so their third eye no longer dissapears (it also blinks).

Stoneborn eyebrows and head are ported to be handled by [NL] Facial Animation so no more double eyebrows.

No other changes to Det's other Xenotypes as the rest mostly work fine in [NL] Facial Animation as they don't touch mouths, eyes, or eyebrows (except for Buzzers which overlays facial animation eyes with large unblinking compound eyes which seems appropriate).


Preview with Vanilla Textures Expanded - [NL] Facial Animation but should work without it.

@njl Thanks for the info, that's probably the source of this bug and since I'm on the latest version there was no way for me to confirm that it was the source of the bug. I'll put a disclaimer in the description for people with the same bug to update [NL] Facial Animation since workshop is a bit slow on delivering the updates.

@njl That sounds similar to a bug that some people are experiencing with the new xenotype support in [NL] Facial Animation, it's not intended. I've never been able to reproduce the bug myself through devmode tests and I've used my mods through a playthrough and haven't seen it. Did you happen to update [NL] Facial Animation or was it a fresh install of said mod?

non stoneborns have bushy brows, wondering if thats normal or part of the mod

@Eclipse Facial Animations Xenotype Compatibility was the solution for xenotypes before the latest [NL] Facial Animations update and only provided a basic level of support for xenotypes by overlaying the gene heads over a pawns head. Now that [NL] Facial Animations officially supports xenotypes, my mods uses the new support for xenotypes and has redrawn or ported parts to allow for full animation.

Also I don't believe Det's Xenotypes were ever supported by Facial Animations Xenotype Compatibility.

You can use both my mods and Facial Animations Xenotype Compatibility together. Though I would recommend using SunshineyDays mods in the description over Facial Animations Xenotype Compatibility if they have the xenotypes you want as they also provide full support.
