License Plates 3 by JmZ -BASE MOD-

The third installment of my project, adding personalized, realistic license plates for trucks and trailers to Euro Truck Simulator 2.
License plate sets for individual countries were prepared based on the regulations in force in a given country to maintain the greatest possible degree of realism.

From this version on, the project is divided into two parts:
  • Main part - BASE MOD - required.
  • Additional parts - ADD ON - adding license plates for the selected country
Links to available sets are at the end of the description. Information about a given set is included in its description.
Several selected add-ons (license plates for multiple countries) can be used simultaneously.

License Plates 3 by JmZ - BASE MOD - (required):
  • Main and shared files necessary for the entire project to function.
  • For all existing SCS trucks/trailers available in the game, it adds the ability to apply a logo frame and license plate illumination lamps to standard generated license plates.
  • For selected elements (e.g., bumpers), it adds additional options, accessory slots, and graphic elements.
  • Adds a dynamic (animated) turn signal function to selected bumper versions for some trailers.
  • Introduces several visual changes to some trailers and their accessories (added/improved logos, reflective elements, etc.).

Additions based on products from the Polish company WAŚ (W.I.P.):
  • Position/side marker lamps including front/rear/side position/marker lamp + turn signal in two versions:
    1. W269.1.2DD - Dark version (tinted lenses) + dynamic (animated) turn signal
    2. W269.1.2D - Dark version + standard (static) turn signal
  • Devices (markers) Reflectors based on the FI61 model, available in red and orange.
  • Small position/marker lights based on the W79W model, white and orange + versions with integrated flashing light (orange beacon).
  • A series of marker lights based on the W240 model with a line display and indicator function, available for:
    • All SCS BOX trailers
    • Krone Cooliner & Dryliner trailers
    • Kogel Cargo trailer
    • Schmitz S.BO trailer

Other extras included in -BASE MOD-:
  • 8x4 chassis for SCS Volvo FH4/FH5/FH6 with "IMAGINATION" body by Iwona Blecharczyk + dedicated PaintJob (other components will be added in the future).
  • Renewed version of the Thermo King refrigeration unit available for the following trailers: SCS, Krone Cooliner, Schmitz SKO, Tirsan SRI.

Basic (SCS/WoT) and customized (with the -ADD ON- add-on) license plates are available for:
  • All SCS trucks available in the game (from the base version and DLCs)
  • Separate license plate versions adapted to DLC tuning accessories (e.g., bumpers or guards)
  • All trailers and their available variants (from the base version and DLCs)
  • With appropriate modifications, DAF XF, Scania and Renault electric trucks are also supported.

Modifying, copying, or sharing any content without the author's consent is prohibited.

The WAŚ lamp models, and the textures were created entirely by me.
The author and owner of the element models from Euro Truck Simulator 2 is SCS Software.
Some of the chassis models used were implemented with the author's permission to maintain
compatibility with Signs on Your Truck & Trailer by Tobrago.

Hallo, Der Mod ist bei mir nicht mehr weg zu denken, einfach nur Klasse dieser Mod. Nur ist ein ganz kleiner Fehler in diesem Mod. Ich fahre gerne den Standart Trailer - Stahl Kipper und bei diesem Hänger, auch bei den anderen Varieanten stimmt die TÜV Plakette nicht richtig, sie ist nicht auf dem Schild D 2+2+3 paltziert, sonden an der Stelle wo man sie auswählt. Ich hoffe das man dies irgendwann behebt. Vielen Herzlichen Dank.

I don't plan to expand this project into tuning accessories.
Only the WAŚ lighting accessories, which I'm currently testing, might see something new, but I'm ultimately planning a separate project with such add-ons.

Regarding the 8x4 chassis for the Volvo FH4/FH5/FH6 in the "IMAGINATION" version, all that's left is to adapt/rebuild a few add-ons that were available in the previous version of my project, and that's it. I'm doing this for a personal reason and at the request of users of the previous version of the project.

The only changes that might appear in the future will include improvements to existing SCS accessories in the game, such as bumpers and lights, in terms of appearance (e.g., higher texture resolution), additional accessory slots, or features (e.g., animated/dynamic turn signals).

If you're disappointed with my answer, I apologize. I simply don't want to turn this project into a wasteland.

There's no need to thank me. I'm happy that, in addition to the intended features, additional ones have appeared that I wasn't aware of. I wonder if the mod will now help solve my health problems. Just kidding... :steammocking:
But I'm really happy because I finally managed to publish it.
Could you write me more about these issues on Stem Messenger, because I'm curious about it.

It absolutely can. However, the change may cause some problems, mainly requiring reconfiguring the license plates, so I recommend: first, manually save the game, disable License Plates 2 in the Mod Manager, activate THIS version of my mod (Base-Mod + add-on(s) for selected countries), and if everything is OK, continue enjoying the game.
I don't recommend using the current and previous versions of my mod simultaneously - I've known of conflicts and problems with vehicles with license plates from the previous version.

I'll publish the update once I've finished and tested the remaining components.
