[B42] Silent Hill Dynamic Music Replacement

This mod is inspired by the original "Silent Hill Music Replacement v2 [B41 Only]" mod created by user Warmacha. If you still play on build 41, please show that mod some love.

This mod replaces nearly all of the original tracks with modified and respliced tracks from Silent Hill 1, 2, and 3. There are different intensities for each song depending on the mood/intensity of the game state, staying faithful to the original dynamic music experience. Enjoy!





First navigate to the workshop mods located in
/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/108600 (your ID for the project zomboid mods may be different but for me, its 108600.)

Navigate to the workshop mod id: 3556702241. Then go into: mods/Silent Hill Dynamic Music Replacement/42/media/sound/banks/Desktop
Choose which build you plan to play on: 42.12 (pre-multiplayer, more support) or 42.13 (post-multiplayer, unstable).
Inside should be the BANK file for your chosen build of the game. Note that neither of these are backwards compatible with the other; 42.13 won't work on 42.12, and vice versa.

Next, go to your game folder located in Steam/steamapps/common/ProjectZomboid
Finally: media/sound/banks/Desktop. Paste the file in this folder- but make sure to create a backup of the original ZomboidMusic.bank file. That's it.



Currently, 42.13 is recent and unstable. Some whitelisted, unmodded servers could have an issue with modifying raw game files, so if you choose to play on a server and you keep getting kicked without explanation, replace your modded BANK file with the vanilla one. This mod might be the issue. After server hopping with this mod installed, I got kicked from some servers, but on some, I'm able to play without issue. Just be cautious on public servers. Anyways, have fun!
