Indomitable Class Escort Destroyer

The Indomitable Class Destroyer is a refit variant of the Redoubtable Class.
Replacing all 8 escape pods with 4 Assault Cannon Turret emplacements.

Primarily designed for anti-strike-craft and anti-missile warfare, the Indomitable Class Destroyer provides significant defensive coverage to a deployed task force allowing accompanying Capital ships to engage larger targets free from harassment.
Indomitable's can also deploy independently for long range patrol and anti-piracy operations or function as an anchor for a frigate squadron.

The ship can support a complement of between 32-42 personnel.

This ship is more role-play / pseudo realism focused than a PVP ship. Intentionally designed not to be a super-ship capable of anything everything, bristling with railguns etc- but would certainly not go down without a fight!


~~ Features ~~

A fully detailed interior with hundreds of lights, LCDs as well as Deck Plan LCD's placed around the ship to prevent people getting lost.

Survival ready. I imagine this ship could be a end game goal to get into orbit and recover it, or go off exploring with a crew and fight POIs.
Or it could be made into a ghost ship of sorts.

Battle Stations mode that dims lights and seals blast doors.
Each Turret has a dedicated welder to auto-repair any damage once activated.
