A core mod for my rendition of Nightmare. This covers the many scripts and balance changes that make the mod what it is.

This is the mod includes:

- All the balance changes for weapons and special infected health and reaction times
- Tank damage buffs
- Common damage changes
- Population balancing for playercount
- Struggle to escape specials in solo mode
- Starting with the flashlight (tonfa) instead of the pistols
- No random hordes
- Incendiary and Explosive ammos being replaced with Laser Sights and Ammo
- Weapon Dropping
- Gun Recoil
- Incap Crawling
- Realism style glows
- Specials knocking your gun out of your hands
- Damage taking temp health before perma health
- Tanks busting down saferoom doors
- Weapon weight
- Boomers explosions dealing damage
- Defib ragdolls
- Limited ammo piles
- Slow Motion upon getting headshots / killing special infected
- Pipe bombs acting like they did in L4D1 beta (i.e regular grenades)
- and More.

Nightmare: Redux is designed as an all in one package, so a lot of this stuff is grouped together on purpose. Unsub at your own risk.

Hi, I wanted to ask if there's a "Population balancing for playercount" separate addon or one that works similarly to how it does here?

yeah, unfortunately it has to be part of the magnum .txt file, so dog is right that you aught to download a nightmare magnum script before subbing to this (which will cause conflicts but it shouldnt be that bad). It uses almost the exact same stats as regular npack so that should work fine anyways

@migon it is a script, u can edit the script if u know how to edit vpk. Otherwise, u will need another magnum script addon loaded after this mod that is balanced around the same damage numbers which is like 1000+ damage.

there anyway to restore the magnum back to the secondary slot? or is it baked into the mod? (aka not a separate addon)

as i said, disable it if you want redux to suck 100x more ass, I ripped them out for a reason

I may be a dumbass, but if the disabled bots are a separate addon (as you've stated previously), where or what addon do I need to change to enable said bots again?

"I made the decision to make the survivor bot thing a separate addon for people that want to disable it."
