I enjoy this map. I only play single-player. It feels like the original author tried to balance this map for multiplayer. The result is OK, but doesn't really fit the map concept.

I think that this map would become great as a gloriously unbalanced single-player map.

That is, each plane should have terrains and sites that are specific for that plane. Nations should have start-positions that are suitable for that nation, but only a few nations would really thrive on this map. And, some planes will be quite hard.

Also, some planes can not be really supported until a future version of Dominions. So, the plane of air might have cloud castles and floating islands. But, to get to/from any air province should require the ability to fly. Currently, I don't think that Dom6 can require flight as a movement restriction. In the same vein, the astral plane should require "astral travel" or maybe a teleport ability for movement.

Could you pull off some of this if you made a mod for this map?

It also makes you ask how much you can practice your maniacal cackling from understanding Things Beyond Mortal Ken.
