Fall of the Republic: Fleet Command

A comprehensive fleet overhaul for Empire at War: Fall of the Republic.
Build, deploy, and command standardized battlegroups with precision and purpose.
Fleet Command introduces a new way to build and deploy space fleets in Fall of the Republic.
Instead of building individual warships alone, you now construct fully formed task forces designed
around real military doctrine: picket groups, frigate screens, cruiser cores, and capital flagships.
This mod adds over 30 buildable fleet groups, each spawning a pre-assembled unit formation
on deployment.

Features
Buildable Battlegroups**: New units spawn multiple ships at once using scripted logic.
Fleet Doctrine-Based Design**: Groups are structured as pickets, frigate escorts, cruiser strike forces,
carrier groups, and capital task forces.
Rebalanced Costs and Build Times**: Based on comprehensive stat spreadsheets to ensure
fair gameplay. Galactic Corporations also apply appropirate discounts.
Faction-Specific Groups: REPUBLIC-ONLY, CIS and Hutt Groups comming soon.
Also features special groups for KDY Market ships as well as ships unlocked with Order 66,
one new group unlocked with Order 65.
Player-only Mod. Do you really want the AI Doom stacking entire Task Forces?

**Fall of the Republic is required to play this mod.
**Not compatible with vanilla Empire at war.
**Thrawn's Revenge Version Possible.

Ooh, that'd be cool, basing it off of WW2 unit compositions in a way. Glad to hear it's maybe less impossible than I thought it would be, though naturally I figure expanding to the ground would take a while.

@Fist Full of Crimson: There are lua units in the game called Groundwar, I don't know how to access them but they have mixed ground units (1 AT-TE with a clone platoon for example). So its possible for a ground expansion. I've had a chat with ChatGPT on modelling different Republic units after U.S. Army/Marine Corp ground formations, that was mainly for fun though. But I could do that and model Separatists formations after Soviet Doctrine, perhaps come up with a third variant for the Hutts.

@Autsin: yes those are leftover strings from the earlier version, right now they're just there to help tell the difference between units. I'll be putting in proper tooltips soon.

Just curious, and I know such a change or alternate version would take a hell of a lot of time to make, but would there eventually be a plan to expand this to ground units? I think it'd be a cool concept to expand toward, maybe possible through similar spawning mechanics already seen on things like Infantry platoons.

Otherwise I do like this mod, it helps add to the feeling of scale in a niche way other people might not have thought of.

The current version works but there are some bugs and compatability issues with other mods. I'm still working on an improved version but I keep hitting major bugs and behavioural problems which is really slowing me down.

Well, mod is under revamp. While 1st idea was interesting, author quickly found issue with it.
Also I think, that fleets at that time were too overpowered.
