Artemis Dynamics© - the Mobile Habitation Module

Artemis Dynamics©, a permanent presence
Rigorous testing conducted by Artemis Dynamics’ pioneering L.E.V and its crews uncovered critical limitations in range, crew capacity, and long-term sustainability.

While the L.E.V advanced lunar traversal, it quickly became apparent that a larger, more capable platform was needed.

After years of research and hard-learned lessons, Artemis Dynamics introduced the Mobile Habitation Module (M.H.M)—a nuclear-powered, long-duration support vehicle designed to serve as a mobile forward base.

Though its name lacked imagination, the M.H.M delivered where it counted: expanded crew accommodations, increased oxygen and fuel reserves, and the ability to support multiple L.E.V.s for months at a time.

General information
The M.H.M, developed by Artemis Dynamics©, is a nuclear-electric vehicle engineered for long-range lunar traversal. Designed to function as a mobile base, the M.H.M is capable of supporting and repairing multiple L.E.V.s simultaneously, significantly extending their operational range.

It features independent life support and temperature control systems for each crew compartment, advanced digital information systems, spacious crew accommodations, and a remotely operated rover for exploring lunar caverns and surrounding terrain. With its robust systems and versatile capabilities, the M.H.M enables sustained operations far beyond fixed lunar installations.

Personal Note
Wow, what a project it’s been.

After I made my first vehicle, the L.E.V, I got overly motivated and excited to explore what more this game had to offer and how far I could push myself. Over these past 10 months I’ve spent 500 hours working on this behemoth, it’s been 500 hours of pixel art, 15,000 lines of code, late nights spent designing UI, drinking coffee and excitedly jotting down ideas. A long road that’s been troubled by lack of motivation on such a huge project (at least for my standards), but after I completed every little project inside of the M.H.M I looked back with pride and joy.

Now that the project is completed in its entirety I can’t wait to go back and do it all again. Although this time not on such a large scale. I hope that I one day will look back on this project and go “what the hell was I thinking” just as I have with the L.E.V in retrospect.

This project has really made me realise that engineering is something I enjoy, which is good given that I start Electrical engineering at university in a few weeks lol.

I hope this project can inspire you like you guys inspire me with the crazy shenanigans posted on the workshop every day, but most of all, I hope you enjoy this project as much as I did.

Credits
Thank you to Rockford Engineering - (By HealthyHenry) for designing most of the Life support system and the Reactor. But most importantly, for being there to discuss my overly complicated ideas, my all out stupid ideas, and sometimes, my pretty good ideas.

@goon yard. You start the reactor by entering the reactor soon, via the airlock, and clicking on a button mounted on the reactor
