A pair of neoclassical cableway stations using my new building editor elements pack, suitable for early start games, tourist resorts, Stalinist cities and anything else where the original stations are inappropriately modern.

There are two stations: a small one with just path connections, and a larger one with a loading dock and road connection which can handle cargo (and receive cable cars by road on realistic mode). The smaller one doesn't show up in the bottom menu, but you can navigate to it from the large one by Q-E.

I originally wanted to make this look more like the very small cable car stations in Chiatura, which I visited in 2018, but the game needs the cable to be at least 10m off the ground so you get this rather grander structure instead.

Note that you need to be subscribed to my early start building elements pack for this to work. This is the first in a whole series of planned mods using the pack; I'm planning on making these until I get bored and alternating between

Hello KnightElite - thank you very much for your comments and I've fixed the error on the small cableway cabin where it had two connections (no idea how that happened - I'm sorry I didn't notice it during testing!) I hope that's also the source of your bug where cabins weren't coming out - I've just tested it in combination with every other station and it now seems to work.

My large station does have a road connection, the small one doesn't so on realistic you will need either a vanilla station or a large station at the other end of the line. That has worked as a combo before and hopefully if the other bug is fixed will work now.

Do say if you're having any more issues and I hope this now works properly for you :)

Another correction, the cabins were able to be sent from the vanilla cableway station to this one, but then they didn't come out of this one afterward. I had to sell them and demolish the station to get it to work :(.

As another note, without a road connection I wasn't able to unload the cars from it (which is why I had to sell them). Not sure if that's a limitation that can be worked around or not, but might mean you need a vanilla cableway station on one end still once you fix the issues I mentioned already.

I was able to use your station on one side when I connected it to an unmodded small cableway on the other side. Not sure why that made a difference but it did. So this mod seems to work as long as it's only on one side of the cableway, at least with my one test so far.

Tried this for the first time today, and the small cableway station has something weird going on where it somehow has two overlapping cableway connection points. As a result even when you connect it up, it still says it's disconnected, and still shows the cableway connection point. The vanilla cableway station does not do this, once you have connected it the connection point disappears when you're holding the cableway connection tool.

Looks great, would be nice if this issue could be fixed.

Perfect! I've just started to build a historical center of a big city and was a little disappointed, that vanilla cableway doesn't fit in the style of the rest of Old Town!
