[WOTC] Land Reinforcements

描述
Adds ADVENT reinforcements coming from roads connecting to the map

How it works
ADVENT blew all their air support budget for the year, so by default there is a 50% chance a reinforcement group that would come with the airship will arrive on land instead. That land troop transport will spawn at a connecting road closest to XCOM squad.

Includes 3 new cutscenes:
  • Arrival with Van
  • Arrival with APC
  • Arrival on Foot
which support 3 MECs, 6 ADVENT humanoids, for total of 6 units in a cutscene

All packages are cooked, if you want uncooked files you can get them here[github.com]

Configuration
  • ChanceToModifyAirTransportToLandTransport:
    Percentage chance to turn a dropship arrival to a land arrival

  • MaximumTileDistance:
    Max allowed distance from XCOM for reinforcement location to be considered valid

  • PurelyVisual:
    Location of the reinforcement spawn is not changed and will only play a cutscene

Compatibility
Works on plots that have periphery road parcels in them (all of outdoor vanilla maps), modded maps work as long as they have those parcels included
Works with modded enemies (humanoids and MECs) that can arrive with the dropship
Should be OK to add to an existing campaign
Works with LWOTC

alright thanks, also does the chance to turn reinforcements into land arrivals also make the other 2 cutscenes happen? or is there a different config for those two as well?

It's not really a chance if reinforcement will be a psi-rift, I believe it attempts to make a dropship reinforcement first, then checks if all units are allowed to be in one, sectoids for example don't have an animation for a dropship arrival so its changed to a psi-rift if you have an alien arriving

I can't remember if this is a mod thing or not but, is there a config to reduce the chance of a rift reinforcement to also allow that to make way for this mods version?
