StarExtensions should work too, haven't tested it.

I found that there is no OpenStarbound version of the double-tap bind mod in workshop that will work with mods, so I made it by myself for my ModPack. Just bind something in Options/Mod Binds/Double-Tap Action Category, then press this button + Left/Right buttons, and you'll dash without double tapping!

This mod is focused to be universal compatibility solution for modded techs! If you have problems with vanilla techs, you can use this mod along with Zerotap Dash which only affects vanilla. As seen in my tests, ZeroTap is not required when using FU (i don't know why, it just works)

Default bind is Left Shift!

Should be compatible with everything except mods that change the 'doubletap.lua' file.
Report any problems you found, i will try to fix that!

it seems "bk3k's More Powerful Techs" is not compatible, sadly

yea, betabound energy dash is not responsive to this, my arcana cinder/shadow dashes are fine tho....gonna check starforge dashes n come back... if i dont comee back here, assume they arent borked or i got distracted

I also use rpg growth, it has its own inputs for techs, which might affect it.

it seems the double tap action cannot be used with any dash that can be used mid-air, im running both frackin and betabound, those are the only ones i can imagine interfering with these techs.

from what I've experienced and what the author said, vanilla techs do not work with this mod installed, only modded ones do, but installing Zerotap Dash alongside this mod fixes it, for me at least
