描述
What is this?
This mod adds torches to the game! Craft torches and build standing torches or braziers to light your settlement. You can use torches as weapons and burn your enemies. You can tweak the speed at which the torches get consumed through the settings file.

Requires starting a new game. Not tested in co-op.

Recipes
  • Make Torch. Requires 1 Construction Level + 1 Wood + 1 Rag + 1 Match + 5 Flammable Liquid (Vodka, Kerosene, Gasoline, VegetableOil, HomemadeFuel).
  • Build Standing Torch. Requires Toolbox + 2 Construction Level + 2 Rag + 2 Wood + 10 Flammable Liquid.
  • Build Brazier. Requires Toolbox + 2 Construction Level + 2 Rag + 2 SteelIngot + 1 Wood + 10 Flammable Liquid.

Settings
The settings file can be found in the mod's folder under "Settings_SISTorches.xml".
  • ChanceBurnOnTorchAttack. The chance to burn a character when attacked with a torch. (default 0.75)
  • DaysTillTorchExtingish. Days till a torch extinguishes. (default 0.45 which is 45% of a day)
  • DaysTillStandingTorchExtingish. Days till a standing torch (or brazier) extinguishes. (default 0.75 which is 75% of a day)

Compatibility
Shouldn't have any incompatibilities. Report any issues in the comments section!

With a new save & no other mods, it works great. I tried a modded sandbox & it still wasn't working. So then I tried today with only the other SIS mods I've been using (water collectors, kill privately) and again it worked great. Added a few other mods I've been using to that save (a few weapon mods by you & the cornmeal crafting mod) and it again worked perfectly. So apparently the first one after the patch was a glitch - or maybe my local files just hadn't updated to the patch yet. Either way, seems to be working nicely now

I don't get any errors now, but the built torches don't seem to shed any light. I can build them & light them - and they consume fuel - but no light. The handheld torches seem to work properly.

the torch work fine, but error for the blazzier and standing torch. I have to disabled recipes for both of it for now to only use the torch
